Stackly — Privacy Policy

Stackly ("the app") helps Shopify merchants offer quantity-break discounts. This policy explains what data the app processes and why.

Data we process

The app reads the store's product catalog (titles, prices, tags, descriptions, images) to let merchants configure deals and to power optional AI deal suggestions. It creates and manages discounts in the store on the merchant's behalf.

Data we do NOT collect

Stackly stores no customer personal data: no names, emails, addresses, payment details, order records, or identifiers of any kind. Storefront analytics are anonymous counters (how many times a deal tier was selected) with no cookies and no visitor tracking.

AI features

When a merchant uses AI deal suggestions, product catalog data only (titles, types, tags, prices, description excerpts) is sent to the OpenAI API to generate suggestions. Customer data is never sent — the app holds none.

Data retention and deletion

Deal configuration and anonymous counters are kept while the app is installed. Uninstalling the app removes its discounts and widget automatically, and all stored data for the shop is permanently deleted within 48 hours in response to Shopify's shop redaction webhook.
